We saw two whales (mom and baby) but we were at least 100 yards away and they were (sleeping per the guide). We could barely see the hump and it just floated on top of the water the whole time. Every now and then would go under but never saw anything more than the hump from a distance.

The dolphins and humpback whales feeding in the same area...fighting over the fish! The humpbacks tail flipping to discourage the dolphins from eating their fish!! We also enjoyed seeing the whales doing the backstroke!! We had never seen those behaviors before!!

Didn’t get to experience the full whale watching trip. Unfortunately due to inclement weather we had to turn around and come back as there were 4-6 foot swells and many people were sick. The captain and the company Boston Harbour Cruises was amazing. She forwarned everyone in the morning that it was going to be rough and she may have to turn back. She gave everyone the opportunity to rebook another time. At the end they offered everyone a full refund or a rebooking option. We will definitely come back to Boston and try again.
