My husband and I live in Frankfort, but my parents were in town so we signed up to go. Weā€™d wanted to have something to do. Weā€™ve done several outings with Canoe Kentucky, thatā€™s who runs these tours, and we are never disappointed. We learned a lot more history about our area and had a beautiful boat ride too! Captain Nathan was amazing. He was easy to hear, answered all our questions, and had KYā€™s own Ale8 on board to serve us!

This is a fun, informative way to get an overview of the city and history of bourbon. We did the boat tour first- professional and friendly from start to finish- and then the basic tour at Buffalo Trace. Even followed Nathanā€™s rec for riverfront lunch. If we travel back to Louisville, we will be sure to take another boat tour.
