While it was nice to have someone drive us to the various distillery locations, we experienced a few disappointments. Our start time was super early at 8am, though advertised as 11am. Even though we didn’t get booked at any of the top 3 choices I requested, I was fine with the supplemental itinerary. However one of the 3 stops was changed again after the final itinerary was sent over-and because it was a place we had already visited recently it wasn’t as fun as the other locations we had not been to before. And we were really looking forward to visiting that place that was scheduled. The car was comfortable and the driver was nice. And it would have been nice to add in a stop at a restaurant to eat a meal. When you start drinking at 9am on an empty stomach, the experience loses some of its appeal by around 1pm and you’re starving for more than just the snacks we packed.

Dear Sarah Lawrence. Thank you for your review. Your tour included: Makers Mark, Buffalo Trace and Bardstown Bourbon. Makers Mark has a restaurant and you had time for lunch. You were at Makers Mark from 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. In the tour description, specify that the start time depends on the distilleries on the itinerary, in your case Buffalo Trace and Makers Mark are located in the east and south of the city. Makers Mark 1.5 hours from Louisville. Note: - We don’t change distilleries, we send you several tour options and you choose. - You made a reservation four days in advance for May 29th, Memorial Day Holiday Weekend (Busy week) - You never sent us the three distilleries to visit, you just asked about Woodford Reserve and Bulleit Frontier. - We gave you tour options that included Bulleit Frontier and Woodford, but you chose Buffalo Trace, Makers Mark and Bardstown Bourbon - We offered to cancel the tour, you did not accept it. Finally, your tour included the two oldest distilleries with 200 years of experience and the other distillery is the most modern in Kentucky. Thank you very much for your review. Chris P.

This trip was amazing!! We went to Maker’s Mark, Preservation Distillery and Bardstown Bourbon Company. We were shuttled from our hotel to each site and back to our hotel again. George was incredibly courteous, helped us with any bags, always had chilled water for us each time we returned, and gave us a snippet about each place before we began. Our favorite stop was Maker’s Mark. Lunch at Bardstown was delicious!! Do yourself a favor and get the poutine!! The only improvement I can think of would be just a little more time at Maker’s, but we realize we toured on a Sunday.

It was a great experience from the start. George picked us up at the hotel, he arrived right on time. Before he arrived he texted the time of his arrival. The car was super clean, he had water to offer us and he was super courteous. We had a fabulous time at the three distilleries. A great experience all together
