Bardstown Bourbon distillery has amazing tour and restaurant. Start tasting whiskey from the moment you enter all-glass classroom overlooking 100 acres of active farmland. Examine and evaluate how products are created then age, develop, and finish in the most technically advanced distillery in the country. Excellent tour today with our wonderful and knowledgeable guide, Marjorie. She was prompt and she greeted us with a huge smile. Due to COVID-19, she checked our Temps and the car was very clean. We started off with a Bourbon video on the ride to Makers Mark. She was an excellent driver and could answer all of our questions. She was delightful. She made sure we knew about the different distilleries and just had us laughing as well. I can't express how much I would recommend Spirity Soul. To top it off, she heard my say, he'd love to try Kentucky Fried Chicken in Kentucky. Before we were dropped off, to our surprise, she went by KFC. She was the most attentive, personable guide and she made his birthday Bourbon tour a good time. I highly recommend.

We had the best time on this tour, and Juan (our driver) was simply awesome!! Juan picked us up at The Galt House, and the car was extremely clean and had a thick plastic divider due to Covid. I would highly recommend Juan, and the service he provides. He has this cool video you can watch during the drive which provides a lot of history and background on bourbon. It was very educational. My husband and I both really enjoyed the short film. I’ll never look at bourbon as just bourbon again! Thanks Juan!🙌🏻 We enjoyed both tours, but thought the Makers Mark tour was better than Buffalo Trace however, we enjoyed both tours. We would do it again. We couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful day, and the people were very friendly and knowledgeable. Thanks again Juan for everything! You rock and are the best! Randy and Susanne Broughton

Overall was fine—would have expected tour guide to talk more about each of the distilleries during the driving portion. We could have hired a driver for much cheaper if we had known the tour guide was not going to have any interaction with us. Also several people on the tour got car sick due to the poor driving.
