Our exclusive guided tour is designed to provide our guests with a great wine experience. Learn about Texas Wines and why they are exceptional and different. Hear about the varietals of wine produced while getting acquainted with the wines of vintners who are passionate about their wines. Visit beautiful, privately owned wineries for a tasting reserved just for our guests. Excellent for the wine novice as well as the experienced. Your tour includes a visit to three boutique wineries and/or tasting facilities around the scenic Texas Hill Country, a delicious chef-prepared boxed lunch or a pre-arranged stop at a local eatery. This tour is a unique way to experience the wine country of Texas and you will want to do it again! Every tour is customized and every tour is different - we don't visit the same wineries each trip because we plan our tours for the greatest experiences available for our guests.

We encourage anyone who may be at risk to wear a mask. We do have masks available to our guests. No refund given for cancelling within 24 hrs

What To Expect

Fredericksburg Visitor Information Center

Meet at this location if you do not require pickup. We ask guests to arrive by 10:15, and if we are not already there, will be along shortly as we are picking up guests at hotels also.

I first stumbled across this tour last year with my husband for my 40th birthday. I went back again this year for my 41st with a girlfriend. Rebecca was an amazing guide in both experiences. She listened to my feedback from the previous year and we went to three different wineries - all exceptional. I came home with bottles from all three. For lunch, I had the best BLT of my life. The tour went by quickly but was perfectly paced - enough time to enjoy each visit without feeling rushed. I am already making plans to go back again!

This was a highlight of our trip and well worth the money. Our guide, Rebecca, was very knowledgeable about Fredericksburg, the local wineries, and wine. We learned lots throughout the day, though we thought we knew lots about wine. The coach van we rode in was very comfortable and spacious. We visited three wineries: Bingham Family Vineyards, William Chris Vineyards, and Texas Heritage Vineyard. Each were unique and personable. We met the owner of Texas Heritage, as well as the chief winemaker. Both were willing to spend time answering our questions and were very welcoming. We sampled an ample variety of wines from each winery. Though the lunch was stated as a box lunch, it was an amazing sandwich creation from one of the chefs on the tour. We also had a wine and food pairing at William Chris which was delicious. The day was relaxing and fun. We never felt rushed or unable to linger. I highly recommend this tour for the newbie and veteran alike!

First and foremost, I am "one of those people" who have to research extensively online before booking a trip. I literally strive for everything to be perfect in advance so after a few searches for wine tours, I came upon this FBGTours.com. I noticed so many reviews while at the same time, taking note that they were not necessarily the cheapest (more on that later). I had a few questions regarding my dietary needs for lunch on their tour so naturally, I gave them a call. I very nice lady named Rebecca answered and happily answered my question! Then, 20ish minutes later, we were still talking because SHE WENT THE EXTRA MILE to help me plan something special for me and my significant other! Wow, just wow!! I didn't feel like just another number to her. I felt like she cared and that I mattered! She gave me suggestions on restaurants, places of interest, etc. It was CLEAR she was more than knowledgeable and that she actually lived and breathed the air in her community…she is very proud in a very good way! For the record, she booked the 5 hour wine tour for me, then she went the extra mile to help me surprise my S.O. with flowers in a vase and chocolates for our first trip to the wine country together! I mean…who does that?! On the day of our trip, she pulled up to our cottage, then we went to pick up another couple. We visited three wineries and had an absolute blast! The neat thing is at several moments, Rebecca would start talking to "fill in some gaps" or add more information on top of the wine tour employee who was speaking. It was incredible because not only is she right, she is very passionate in her speech! You can truly tell she loves doing this and it was refreshing. She answered all of our questions and was great during our down time with small talk. She has an exceptional understanding of knowing when to add to the conversation and when to step back so you and your S.O. or friends can enjoy that particular moment, regardless of if you are sipping wine or simply being driven in the shuttle, or laughing it up! I recommend Rebecca and her team without a doubt! I will admit I was a little nervous to pay a little more but like the staying goes, you get what you pay for. Are therer others that are a little cheaper? The last time I checked YES and I'm sure they are good. However, I can pretty much guarantee you they are not EXCEPTIONAL! Trust me, book them without hesitation, then sit back and relax. You can thank me later! ;-) Cheers! Ryan
