It’s on someone’s residence. It’s a small circle you take. We were done in 10 min. Maybe if u wanted to stop and bird watch this would be for you.

Hey B861KWkellyk, just to set the record straight: it’s a golf cart, not a side by side, as clearly advertised. Also, this isn’t a residence—it’s the historic Hummingbird Inn, where birdwatching is a big draw! The trail is a mile long, as noted, so if you skipped the treehouse, ponds, giant cornhole, and wildlife stops, it makes sense you finished quickly. Sorry it didn’t meet your expectations.

It was a fabulous ride with lots of scenery!! We will definitely do it again in the spring and maybe again in the fall!! The golf carts were clean and all charged up so we didn’t run out of juice for the trip. Thx again for your guidance!!

Overall a very nice time, we spent about an hour on the activity. Here are some details: Length of Path-less than a mile, we were able to take our time and go around twice. The path had some erosion so skill is needed by a good driver. There are some drop offs and sharp turns which require attention. Cart Condition-Very nice electric cart which seemed new and was powerful. Scenery: The short path goes around the resort property. We picked a very nice weather day (about 70 degrees, sunny, slight breeze, no bugs). I would recommend that people go when the weather is very nice based on what they like. There is a ravine at the beginning of the trip which is very deep and impressive to view. There are a couple of small ponds which you can walk around and also a deck for bird watching near the end of the trip. Don't miss the Velociraptor signs in the fenced area. Activities: There is an oversized cornhole game which we played and I thought was great. In addition, we climbed into the newer treehouse at the end of the ride which was fun as well. Staff: Chris was great and made us feel welcome and not rushed. Tours are scheduled on the hour so your experience will be timed on others that are scheduled and I felt that we could have stayed a little longer if the schedule was open. Overall Value: I thought it was worth the price we paid based on the experience. That said, people need to manage their expectations and pick a day, time, and conditions that will make a fun experience.
