Branson Dinosaur Museum
Take your vacation back inĀ time andĀ see over 45-life-sized dinosaur replicas. You'll learn about dinosaurs on a self-guided tour in a friendly environment. This museum brings dinosaurs up-close-and-personal…from the small, four-winged microrapter; a dinosaur that measured only one-foot-tall, and was theĀ most abundant of non-bird dinosaurs…to everyone’s favorite, the enormous tyrannosaurus rex, fondly referred to as T Rex; a beast with a massive skull, balanced by a long, heavy tail. These carefully constructed creatures are exquisitely detailed.Ā That detail is courtesy of talented paleo-artists who used actual dinosaur bones to mold theseĀ incredible bodies. SpendĀ as much time as you wish with your prehistoric friends; tours of the Branson Dinosaur Museum are self-guided! Each dinosaur is displayed with descriptive details to help answer your questions about their habits, the definition of their name, and more; it’s the perfect opportunity to learn how different dinosaursĀ are in many ways from today’s animals, yet how remarkably similar they are also. Discover plant-eating dinosaurs – herbivores, and meat-eating animals – carnivores; this is just a small ā€˜taste’ of what your family can learn at the Branson Dinosaur Museum! There are also dinosaur documentary films that you can watch in the small, intimate movie room. #BransonDinosaur #DinosRus #BransonMO #Dinosaurs ā€œBranson Dinosaur Museumā€ is full of them!

I have a son who loves dinos!! We did this for him, and he loved it. It is a building filled with dino replicas. It doesn't take but 15 minutes. But it is in AC and has lots to look at- even a movie. My daughters enjoyed it once they went inside. One daughter loved hunting for golden fossils- she found all ten.

Thanks for posting a review and thanks for visiting us. We are so happy when the kids have fun. And it is hard to find all ten of the golden fossils.

This museum was exactly what my dino-loving 3 year old needed! He was so excited to see a life-size Stegasaurus! The only downside was the lack of an anklysaurus, which my son was begging for. At least they had some fun toys in the gift shop that contained one! As a parent, I found the placards of info very interesting as well! We will definitely come back if we are in the area again.

Our grandson is so into dinosaurs, that we had to do this museum for him! He absolutely loved it. They also had a medallion hunt throughout the museum and he helped find a lot of them! It may have not been real exciting for most of the adults, but watching the joy and excitement on his face, was definitely worth the stop!
