Branson VIP Christmas Light Tour

Overview
See Branson’s magical, electrical, celebration of the holidays like a VIP from one of our luxury coaches.  Our lights tour is  limited to 14 passengers, so you’ll get an upscale, personal, experience from our guide. Your itinerary includes riding through two of Branson’s most eye-popping lighting displays. We kick things off by driving to see the beautiful Chateau on the Lake, to see their awesome display of Gingerbread Houses, and their beautiful atrium lobby...with a stream that actually has fish in it! Wow! When time allows, we will include other local lights, such as the Historic Downing Street in Hollister, MO. After the first Sunday in December we will also be able to see the Historic Nativity scene on Mount Branson. Tour length depends on traffic in the drive thru displays. Typically this tour lasts approximately 2 hours and 15 minutes.

Big Cedar Lodge
NEW in 2023! You will absolutely find displays that you love in this mile long display. There is such a variety of display styles, and "the trail" winds around and up and down the hills of the property, revealing more and more displays at every turn. The lights at Big Cedar Resort are simply spectacular!
3
Hollister
The lighted lamp posts and simple displays of this Old English Village are quaint and cute. The buildings on Downing Street are the same. You will also learn a little history about this unique little town.

A leisurely drive through the beautiful Christmas light trails. Nice to have someone doing the driving that knows some history of the trails and can answer questions as you drive through the remarkable displays. Our tour did not go to Hollister to the Olde English Inn or drive by the Landing to see the nativity scene as was advertised. Mike did take us to the Chateau On the Lake Resort to see the impressive Ginger Bread House displays. Felt it might have been better if the tour did not include all that was advertised that should have been communicated to us. The Chateau might have been the better choice over the Olde English Inn.

Thank you for taking the time to leave your review. We agree that the Chateau on the Lake lobby decorations and Gingerbread Houses display are magnificent. We apologize for the tour description not being updated with the 2021 information!

Mike, the driver, was a careful driver throughout the tour. The Lights of Joy drive through was magical. Never got to see the Nativity scene at Lake Taneycomo which had been advertised as part of the tour. That was a big disappointment. Had a cupcake and either cider or coffee at the beginning of the tour, but no wine which had also been mentioned in the description.

We apologize for the outdated tour description on the TripAdvisor website that you booked your tickets through. We tried multiple times to get them to update the description and as of now, it still isn't done on their site. The Nativity scene on Mount Branson is ONLY visible starting the first Sunday evening in December. If we had driven you down to that location, you would not have been able to see anything, because it is totally dark on the mountain. Nevertheless, we hate that you were disappointed. Concerning the wine...same thing. Wine has not been an option on our Christmas Lights Tours for two years, and even then it was an option to buy a glass of wine, because the 1903 Branson Hotel, that we used to stop at, offered it from their bar. That is part of the old description from 3 years ago, that TripAdvisor has still not accepted our revised description that we have submitted. We are disappointed that you were disappointed. But we understand. We just want you to know that the two things you are upset about was caused by an outdated tour description, that we do not have the power to actually change ourselves! Thank you for the kind words about Mike and the brand new, awesome LED lighting displays at "Lights of Joy" drive thru. We love the diversity of the more traditional lighting displays at "Trail of Lights" at Shepherd of the Hills, and these very modern lights in the "Lights of Joy" display!
