Branson VIP Christmas Light Tour

Overview

See Branson’s magical, electrical, celebration of the holidays like a VIP from our Mercedes Benz Sprinter coach. Our lights tour is limited to 14 passengers, so you’ll get an upscale, personal, experience from our guide. Your itinerary includes riding through two of Branson’s most eye-popping lighting displays. We kick things off by driving to see the beautiful Chateau on the Lake, to see their awesome display of Gingerbread Houses, and their beautiful atrium lobby...with a stream that actually has fish in it! Wow! When time allows, we will include other local lights, such as the Historic Downing Street in Hollister, MO. After the first Sunday in December we will also be able to see the Historic Nativity scene on Mount Branson. Tour length depends on traffic in the drive thru displays. Typically this tour lasts approximately 2 hours and 15 minutes.

Tours depart from and end at our new office location, directly across the street from the Hollywood Wax Museum. We are downstairs in the lower level of Midtowne Plaza. Do NOT go to 3027 West Highway 76. That is a different address and is far away from our office!
Please arrive 15 minutes prior to departure time.

VIP Tours does not require our guests to wear face coverings while on the bus, and for safety reasons our drivers are not required to wear a face covering while driving.

Enjoy the site of some of the richest history that Branson has to offer while being Dazzled by the Christmas lights display at the Shepherd of the Hill's Trail of Lights while comfortably touring through the Ozark Mountains in VIP's Mercedes coach.

The Shepherd of the Hills

You will absolutely find displays that you love in this mile long display. There is such a variety of display styles, and "the trail" winds around and up and down the hills of the property, revealing more and more displays at every turn. The Trail of Lights is the oldest drive thru lights display in Branson.

Really cool light display! Our tour guide was very informative, played Christmas music and really wanted us to enjoy the show! Would do this again!!!!

The most memorable part of the experience was when we stopped at the Château five star hotel to see their gingerbread Christmas houses and their beautiful Christmas decorations. But however, the downfall was there’s four seats in the back of the bus which have no access to a window, and I did the tour to take my mom for her birthday and we could not even sit together.

Tiffany, thank you for taking the time to leave a detailed review. As you will recall, you called me a few hours before the tour because you weren't able to book online. You needed two seats and we only had one seat available. We can seat 18 guests on our Mercedes Touring Coach, but limit our Lights Tour to 14. At the time you called we had 13 seats booked. So only room for one more guest. So, I explained to you that we had room to take the two of you, but it would mean you would need to sit in the back row. You couldn't do the tour on another night, it was mothers birthday celebration, and you both agreed to book the tour with the understanding that you would need to sit in the back row. Why you weren't able to sit with your mom, I don't understand. Regardless of all those things, we are very sorry you didn't enjoy the tour! We took the reservation to help you and your mother.

Went to the Christmas Trail of Lights, very standard decorations. Later, went to Lights of Joy which was done much better. Also, went to the chateau to see three small indoor displays. Was nice of driver to recommend restaurants and attractions, was a good driver and very informative, but wasn’t impressed by the decorations we saw. Thought this was very overpriced and would not do this again! Wasn’t worth the time or money.

Thank you for the review and your business! We do appreciate both. I hate it that we, as the tour company, get a poor rating because of the lights displays and decorations we see. We don't have any say about those things. The Gingerbread Houses at Chateau on the Lake are a work in progress. Last week was the first week of the Christmas Lights Tours. There are more businesses "lit up" this week, and more displays at the Chateau. Again, those are all things that we can't control. But we get reviewed on them anyway. I understand that, but I don't like it. Bottom line is, we are disappointed that you were disappointed!
