Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness
Hot Air Balloon Flights take place in an uncontrolled outdoor environment and include transportation by van or 4-wheel drive vehicle. All riders should wear comfortable closed-toe shoes and dress in layers for the cooler temperatures at sunrise. All riders must be sturdy on their feet with no recent injuries. Riders should consult a physician with any questions about their ability to participate in the activity. All riders must sign waivers. Hand-held cameras, binoculars, and closable water bottles are welcome aboard the balloon. There are no bathrooms in the field.
All balloon flights are subject to weather. If the weather conditions do not permit a safe flight on the day you are scheduled, your flight will be cancelled by the pilot and you may reschedule or be refunded in full. Riders should monitor their cell phones for an early morning call from the pilot or crew chief regarding weather.
All riders cancelling their reservations within 24 hours of the activity departure or who are a "no show" are considered non-refundable.

We all really enjoyed this trip! T dog and his crew were awesome! They were great at putting us at ease. It was very informative and absolutely breathtaking. The light breakfast and champagne toast at the end was perfect! Would definitely recommend!

If you are like me and never have been on a hot air balloon ride, go with Adventures Out West. I had booked this trip as a present for my daughter and was anxious about it being canceled. It really was an adventure since we didn't know what to expect. When the day finally came, I don't think we could've asked for better weather. Our pilot T-Dog and his crew were lively and funny, with plenty of stories and information. They gave clear instructions and always had our safety in mind. It was comforting to see them checking over the equipment and the envelope for any possible safety concerns. During the flight, the ground crew kept in contact to alert the pilot to the location of nearby balloons. The celebratory breakfast spread had a little something for everyone. The flight and landing were very graceful (thanks, T-Dog). Such an awesome experience, easily the best part of our trip!
