This Brooklyn neighborhood, looks like it is out of this world during Christmas time. This was a great tour. Sebastian was our your guide. He was so knowledgeable and gave the history of Christmas lights as well as the history of Dyker heights. The sidewalks were very crowded but he did a great job trying yo keep this larger group together. We then stopped at DUMBO for a awesome picture of the Brooklyn Bridge. This is the only way to see Dyker. I would NEVER attempt it alone. Loved the explode.!!!

This wasn't what as advertised. Let's start with the fact that there were at least 51 people crowded on the huge bus. I got the impression from previous comments that was the outside amount & 'unusual,' but it wasn't. That is SOP. It is too many people for a residential tour, because it takes so long to get photos (of course there are always a few selfie queens who hog the views & don't care about others) and then to regather at the designated meeting places. Then there is the fact that we did NOT stop in DUMBO for that view back to Manhattan. The bus stopped by the Brooklyn Bridge so tourists could take photos of that. It is a completely different neighborhood with a totally different view. The DUMBO view with the Manhattan Bridge & Empire State is iconic...and it didn't happen. (It would have been better to give us a map & tell us the best route to take in Dyker Heights. He did point out a couple of houses of interest & had some good history of the neighborhood, but I don't know that I believed it because of his other lies - see below.) Then mix in the fact that the guide was making things up as he went along: From his comment about who works at Ellen's Stardust Diner ("understudies," which they aren't as they're a mix of off-Broadway & accomplished Broadway actors, many of whom have led national tours & starred on Broadway) to the Hell's Kitchen history fibs to not knowing where TriBeCa ends (Murray, not Chambers) to where the FiDi is (east of Broadway & south of Liberty) to calling Battery Park City primarily residential, when it is home to Goldman & Brookfield, which is full of offices. I could go on & on & on, but that fact is that he didn't know the history of the places we drove through, which left the tourists with bad info & lies.
