What To Expect
1
Bushwick Collective Street Art
Fans of street art (graphic arts who express themselves in the street), rejoice, Bushwick has become the field of choice for the best graffiti artists in the world, it is a real open-air museum! And this is even more true since the site of 5 Pointz (former outdoor art space located at Hunters Point) was razed. And if you do not know street art well or have a bad image of it, you are given the opportunity to better understand this mode of expression born in the 1970s (in New York precisely!), An art that has never ceased '' evolve to the point of being considered today as equal with the work of the most recognized plastic artists. Besides, the name of Banksy, one of the most emblematic graffiti artists, may not be foreign to you ...

Williamsburg
And what about Williamsburg, this district where hipsters take the time more than ever to live and launch new fashions in spite of themselves… Vintage shops, trendy coffee shops, organic artisans… Williamsburg is an invitation to slow down, to take your time , and rediscover the taste for simple and natural things.

The solar energy transmitted by Audrey throughout the tour allowed us to have a great time exploring Brooklyn. We would not have seen this place the same way without this visit. Thank you very much!

We took "full eyes" of it! Being ourselves an artist/musician, we loved this 2nd visit( out of 3) during our holiday week. We would have missed some nice discoveries / explanations without our guide, Audrey, who knew how to make this visit fun and dynamic. With a sociological approach that particularly touched me (neighborhood transition). A must, we highly recommend!

Unlike most guided tours, we were lucky enough to come across a real Francophone guide living in the neighborhood. In addition, the number of people in the group and the route is perfectly adapted to interact with the guide more easily and allows to visit the neighborhood perfectly. Guillaume is a passionate guide and it is really very pleasant. He told us the story of BROOKLYN, its artistic evolution (streetart, real estate style, music), accompanied by nice anecdotes all along the way and we really do not see time passing. And to finish the tour, he told us where to buy the best cookies (they are really delicious). Without forgetting the good deals, places to eat, visit (which are very useful) and even accompanied us to the METRO.
