At the beginning we were given a brief history of Bushwick, in a big picture - NYC in 70s. up to 90s. After that introduction we were given a great walking tour that made me look at the street art more carefully. Now I now what to look for, where to look for it, and what might be the meaning. Great introduction to the topic, that I for sure will be expending. A must-do for everybody visiting New York.

Jeff took the group around some cool local areas with great graffiti. He seemed to have a lot of knowledge, passion and respect for other artists, despite not being one himself. Although nowhere seemed to be off the beaten track, I no doubt would have missed some of the nuances in each piece that Jeff was keen to point out. Well worth the time.

It all starts with Jeff arriving in his car. He takes you through the neighborhood with respect, Shows you amazing pieces of art and tells great stories. And ends with a recommendation for a good restaurant. A highlight of our trip to NY.
