Fell out of raft on class 3 rapids. Noah our guide hit on a rock that threw me out of raft. Did not throw me lifeline. Hit my back and hips on rocks. Could have been worse.

I'm sorry about your bad experience in Bighorn Sheep Canyon - not Browns Canyon, which is what you are reviewing. I know it can be a scary situation to swim in a rapid. I'm glad another boat was able to rescue you quickly and got you out of the river safely. As I mentioned when you called and we looked through the photos together, it is not best practice to throw a rope from the raft. Ropes are best used from the shore. If he would have thrown a rope at that moment it would have gotten tangled up with the boat that eventually saved you. I will talk to our staff about emphasizing the importance of self-rescue in our safety speeches and letting people know that ropes should not be expected and will almost always come from the shore, not the raft. Kind Regards, Travis

It was a great trip. And Lexi was a great guide. They even sang me happy birthday as I was changing shoes. Had a great time and will do it again the next time and request Lexi as she made it so fun for me and our group. Thanks Lexi.
