Browns Canyon on the Arkansas River is our most popular trip! The unique combination of lots of exciting whitewater, spectacular canyon scenery, great mountain views of some of Colorado’s highest mountains and opportunities to spot wildlife make this the ideal raft trip. Exciting enough for seasoned paddlers, but not too scary for first-timers. You will want to bring your friends and family for epic rapids such as Pinball, Zoom Flume, and Big Drop!

Our group of 4 had an incredible experience with the 1/2 white water rafting at Browns Canyon. Jess, Swammy(not sure it’s spelled, sorry!), and Ginger were extremely welcoming, knowledgeable and professional. They made covered all safety precautions and proper rafting techniques and made us feel prepared us for the rapids. Most of all they made sure it was a fun and memorable experience for all of us. The office staff was all really helpful and professional. They let me know what options were available and answered all of my questions over the phone before and after I made the reservation. I will absolutely recommend The Adventure Company to anyone planning a trip to Colorado.

Running the Arkansas River was top of the list of things to experience during our CO summer vacation. With the river flowing at +4000cfs, The Adventure Company delivered on all fronts. Our guides (Corie, Swanee, and Drew) were very thorough in ensuring all involved were well outfitted and prepared for any incident that might occur. It was apparent that safety is a number one priority. Swanee was our guide and made the extra effort to educate all on Browns Canyon history. At the start of the trip, the stories started flowing. And, like the river, it was all downhill from there. Swanee is an expert boatsman despite denying us the opportunity for a Siedels Suckhole swim qual. He was a great reader of the river. Highly recommended...make sure you ask for Swanee
