Browns Canyon on the Arkansas River is our most popular trip! The unique combination of lots of exciting whitewater, spectacular canyon scenery, great mountain views of some of Colorado’s highest mountains and opportunities to spot wildlife make this the ideal raft trip. Exciting enough for seasoned paddlers, but not too scary for first-timers. You will want to bring your friends and family for epic rapids such as Pinball, Zoom Flume, and Big Drop!

Our guide, Michael C. was funny, fit in nicely with our group of 3 couples and really knew a lot about the river and how to raft safely. We visited on the first day of the season and hoped for The Numbers canyon but the water level was too low. We still had a blast on the intermediate Browns Canyon - the rapids were mild but still super fun. And, it wasn’t as cold as I thought it was going to be, which was a relief. Get the booties though and the wet suit if you’re going in early spring - well worth it. The pictures are great - but if you plan to buy more than two - just buy them all, it’s cheaper and it’s the digital copy so you can share with friends. Thank you Michael C.!! We had so much fun and look forward to doing this again.

If you’re looking for a lot of fun and don’t mind getting wet, give The Adventure Company a call and book a rafting trip. It was a lot of fun and our guide Corey was “awesome” as my son said when grading his performance in the raft and knowledge along the way.

Excellent company to work with. Mike and Hammer did a phenomenal job guiding my group down the river and through the canyon. With most of us intermediate to novice the guides did a tremendous job explaining and showing us the techniques and proper approach to the river and the rapids. Will definitely be going back.
