My husband and I did the half day Brown's Canyon rafting trip. It was quite an experience!! Really great time event though we were in the middle of a thunderstorm at one point! The river was running fast and the rapids were so much fun. Mike was our guide and was an expert! He put us to work rowing and we made it around the boulders with ease!

My family had an amazing white-water rafting trip. There are so many companies in Buena Vista for rafting down the Arkansas River but you have to book with the Adventure Company. First, great customer service on the phone and easy booking on-line. Second, super organzized with what to wear, gear to rent if you need it, clean bathrooms to change, etc, But the most important reason are the guides. Glenn was our guide and made the experience for us. Glenn loves rafting and it shows with his knowledge of the river, The rapids were perfect for our family--we got the white-water/rapids experience but still had time to float and enjoy the beautiful scenery. And talk about superheros...Book with the adventure company and request Glenn. You wont be disappointed.
