Browns Canyon on the Arkansas River is our most popular trip! The unique combination of lots of exciting whitewater, spectacular canyon scenery, great mountain views of some of Colorado’s highest mountains and opportunities to spot wildlife make this the ideal raft trip. Exciting enough for seasoned paddlers, but not too scary for first-timers. You will want to bring your friends and family for epic rapids such as Pinball, Zoom Flume, and Big Drop!

Excellent family fun event. Our guide Corey was both tour guide and master helmsman. He taught us well and kept it safe. Set us up for great photos through some of the rougher sections.

This was our 2nd time doing the browns canyon trip with The Adventure Company. We didn't think we could top our trip last year, but our guide Lucas (George Lucas) (not the one you're thinking of) made this rafting trip unforgettable! All the guides were friendly and experienced, but Lucas was incredible! We had one new nervous rafter in our group, but Lucas navigated the rapids skillfully and we didn't have to do any complicated rowing strokes. He made us feel very calm. Added bonus: if you go with Lucas you will get some top-notch spinach. The views were beautiful and the guides taught us a lot about the landscape's history. We recommend bringing dri-fit/performance layers and your guides will advise how warmly to dress depending on the weather. You can also rent boots and wetsuits. This half-day trip is perfect for both beginners and experienced rafters.
