Browns Canyon on the Arkansas River is our most popular trip! The unique combination of lots of exciting whitewater, spectacular canyon scenery, great mountain views of some of Colorado’s highest mountains and opportunities to spot wildlife make this the ideal raft trip. Exciting enough for seasoned paddlers, but not too scary for first-timers. You will want to bring your friends and family for epic rapids such as Pinball, Zoom Flume, and Big Drop!

What an awesome experience we had. We had a group of 14 so we split into two groups (one with the younger grandkids and one with the older). The younger group took the Milk Run and loved it. The older group took the Browns Canyon Intermediate and had a BLAST! The only disagreement between the two groups was which one had the best guide - Sunnie or Swannie...

Thanks for the great review! It's always great when groups can split up so everyone can get the right amount of thrill that they are looking for- whether you are 2 or 62! And that's a tough call on who had the best guide...they are both pretty great -:)

The Adventure Company gave my brother and me a fantastic rafting experience from start to finish. Katie, who helped me book my trip, was so sweet and patient while I asked tons of questions and changed my mind a bunch of times. They also accommodated several time changes because we had car trouble along the way. The facility itself was super clean and organized. Our equipment was clean and in good shape. Most importantly our guide, Swany, was wonderful! We had a great conversation during the tame parts of the trip and he was full of interesting info about the surrounding area. He was fun, funny, and informative. He kept us safe and entertained us at the same time. We will definitely book our next trip with the Adventure Company and we will request Swany as our guide. Can't wait till next year!

This half day trip was perfect. The weather was fabulous, but the water cold. We opted for renting wetsuits and booties. I am a large woman. I was self conscious that they would not have a wetsuit my size. I was assured on the phone that they've never had a problem fitting anyone. When we arrived and they handed out wetsuits, no commentary, and mine fit just fine. Our guide, Wilson (like the volleyball), was awesome. He made us feel comfortable in all ways. He made sure to accommodate for my weak knees. Our youngest daughter had just turned 12 a couple of days earlier. He made sure she was in the front of the boat, and coordinated the singing of Happy Birthday with another boat. We learned so much about the history and nature of Browns Canyon and the area surrounding surrounding Buena Vista. The trip was a great balance of Class 1 and 2 rapids so we could talk and learn and Class 3 for excitement. Wilson has such a passion for his job and life in general. It was infectious. His life story was great for later conversations with our teenagers about life choices and appreciating what you have. From employees answering phone questions to all the guides to the owner to the bus driver, the level of customer service was unparalleled. We were even spared the traditional suggestion of tipping. We hope others that day had they same level of appreciation and tipped accordingly. An awesome experience that exceeded expectations. Can't wait to see pics!
