I left BG while being there under two hours simply because I did not feel safe because of their lack of their enforcement of COVID-19 safety precautions. Not only were people walking around with their mask beneath their nose; not only were people walking around with their mask beneath their chin; not only were people were walking around without a mask; not only didn't the staff stop and enform these people to wear their mask correctly; the staff themselves were not wearing their masks correctly. While COVID-19 is killing people, I am going to take my business to Disney where they do enforce their COVID-19 safety measures.

I have an annual pass, but have not been to BG in several months because of the Covid 19 outbreak. I specifically went to see for myself how the safety measures were being implemented. I was very reassured. Temp check was quick and easy. I stopped at the ticket booth and was able to get my account updated and make reservations easily. The staff were extremely helpful. Then I entered the park and walked the loop. It was a hot day, so several people did not have their masks actually covering their mouth and noses, but there were so few people that it was very easy to avoid them. There were hand sanitizer or washing stations all over. I checked out the Dragon Fire Grill, tables were spaced out and spacing was marked. Not all of the attractions/activities were available, but there was still plenty to do. I am taking my visiting family next week to enjoy the park.

Busch Gardens during normal times has a bad tendency to be a bit of a mess with poorly dispatched rides, non existent service at F&B locations and a park that requires you to go way out of your way to get anywhere. Unfortunately during Covid times they have taken it down a notch with no enforcement at all of their own rules. Tons of guests with no masks and no one wearing them properly and we never heard anyone working enforcing it. No social distancing of any kind in the ride or food lines and employees not even trying to encourage guests to do it even though they had markers on the ground. Itā€™s like Covid doesnā€™t exist at Busch Gardens - and thatā€™s not a good thing.
