I visited Busch Gardens with two teenagers who enjoy rollercoasters. We visited on a Friday and stayed the entire day (10am-6pm). Parking was a breeze and for the first few hrs, the lines for the rides were minimal. In the afternoon, the queues were longer - 25-40 mins (particularly for Cheetah Hunt, Tigris, and Sheikra). The only disappointing part was Kumba was closed on our visit. We did get to see some of the animals, including a great pic of the hippo swimming in the water through the viewing glass. I unfortunately did not get to see any shows but I did pay extra ($40/person) for the Serengeti Safari Tour. You get very close to the giraffes and you get to feed them. Itā€™s a great opportunity for a photo opt and we all enjoyed it. The tour includes a photographer but I took my own photos. Iā€™d say the giraffes was the highlight of the Safari Tour. Because I likely wonā€™t be visiting again for a very long time, I think it was worth the extra cost to experience it. The food was typical theme park food - expensive and overall poor quality. We ate at the Overlook - pizza, tenders, fries. It was meh. The train ride and Skyride are included in your park admission though the Skyride was not in service that day due to the windy weather. The train ride gives you a distant view of the animals and takes you to the other end of the park. You do have to get off that station and get back on if you want to ride it completely through the park. Overall, we enjoyed our visit and I think the price for the park admission is a good value.

I had never heard of Busch Gardens when we decided to visit but I am so glad we did. The tickets are much more affordable than the theme parks in nearby Orlando and in my opinion the rides were much better and the park atmosphere a lot more enjoyable. We went on a Saturday with beautiful weather and found the park to be a little busy but not packed. Parking was easy, with a tram to take you from the parking lot to the park entrance. We did not have to wait in either direction. As with most theme parks, food and drink is quite expensive but there are lots of water fountains dotted around the park for a drink. Unfortunately the wooden roller coaster was closed which was the main reason we decided to go there so that was a shame but I certainly did not feel I missed out with the other rides. We rented a transferable day pass for the lockers for $8 which I recommend as this gives you peace of mind to store your belongings at each ride. Most of the rides had short lines so there was no long queues except for Cheetah which we waited about 1.5 hours for, and I must say was worth every minute of the wait. The ride is incredibly unique and a really great experience. The cable car is a great way to get from one side of the park to the other and there are excellent views of the park and the animals. All of the other rides and attractions are fantastic and a lot of theme are unique to the park. We had a great day and would not hesitate to return

This was my first visit to Busch Gardens since it changed ownership after the sale of Budweiser to AmBev. It is now run as an amusement park with less attractions relating to gardens, birds and African animals. There are also no more hospitality centers with free beer. In fact, there is nothing free anymore with water setting you back $3.50 a bottle. The attractions of the park are now clearly focused on the roller coasters and they do have some great ones. This is no Cedar Point or Six Flags but if you are into coasters the park is worth the $100 admission and #25 parking. However, if you are like me and too fat to ride the coasters, it was frankly a disappointment. Be prepared to walk a lot and bring suncreen.
