Discover a colorful village nestled among towering trees, explore a 3-story play land of climbing nets and exploration tunnels, soar above the treetops on a zip line adventure or launch into the sky from inside a 35-foot (10 meter) waterfall. Then, come face-to-face with orangutans and test your strength in a tug of war with a Bengal tiger, all in Jungala - the only jungle in the world that plays with you. Blocking out the fun, ruining my time... Get the point yet? In case you haven't, here is the breakdown of my last trip to Busch Gardens EVER. We arrive, only to be lined up, to get to pay to park. We were then graciously allowed to line up for the tram that takes you to the park. Then, you are allowed to queue for 45 minutes to get through ticket services and security. And these were just the short times. We spent at least 30 minutes in line at every ride that wasn't congo or the log flume(even with fast pass). Every food/drink cart was at least a 10 minute wait. Multiple rides were broken down throughout the day. The kumba, congo, sheik-ra, skyride, falcons fury, and phoenix were either closed or broken down at multiple points of the day. The food is so overpriced there should be a federal investigation. I've ate cheaper on tropical islands. We were charged $30 a person for the honor of eating the, without a doubt, worst buffet of my life, at the parks signature restaurant, the serengeti outpost. Tasted like it was bought at Sam's Club and left in a freezer for a year. Then, after 10 hours of this madness, we finally gave up and left the park, tired and defeated. Only, we had to line up for 45 more minutes to catch the tram back to our vehicle... If you plan on getting to the park early, don't. Park opens at 10, but nothing inside the park opens until 1030, so you get "lined up" to get into the park twice. Long story short, if you like dropping a couple hundred bucks per person to stand in line or be walking around the park 90% plus of your time visiting, and eating old, disgusting, high school cafeteria quality food, you are going to LOVE Busch Gardens. If you don't, well, find a better place to spend your hard earned money...

This would have been a perfect trip, if all the rides were working. Unfortunately Cheetah wasn't working, and that was one of 3 rides that all my kids could get on, and my wife was really looking forward to. The quick queue pass really helped on Friday, and we were able to jump right on most of the rides. We didn't need it on Thursday. One thing that was really difficult to deal with was the Brazilian students. They had no respect for line queues and would consistently jump ahead in lines to get with their friends. 1 kid moving up wouldn't upset me, but 14? Thats just ridiculous. It happened on so many rides, we actually reported it to the person at the front of the ride, and they asked if I wanted them kicked out of the park. I certainly didn't want them kicked out. I just wanted them to respect the rules.
