Busch Gardens
One of the top zoos in North America, Busch Gardens brings you face-to-face with more exotic and endangered animals than any destination outside of Africa. Prepare yourself for heart-pounding excitement with SheiKra - America's first dive coaster. Discover a colorful village nestled among towering trees, explore a 3-story play land of climbing nets and exploration tunnels, soar above the treetops on a zip line adventure or launch into the sky from inside a 35-foot (10 meter) waterfall. Then, come face-to-face with orangutans and test your strength in a tug of war with a Bengal tiger, all in Jungala - the only jungle in the world that plays with you. For additional fun, choose from combo ticket options with SeaWorld Orlando, Adventure island Tampa and Aquatica Orlando! All-day parking and unlimited parking packages are also available.

My wife and I have done all the other parks in the Central Florida area, and this past Saturday visit to Bush Gardens was by far the worst. We spent $230 for tickets/meal pass for the day (which was a "savings" from standard pricing) We arrived in Tampa area from Orlando right at 10, but between the long parking wait time and tram, it took 45 minutes to get into the park. We had splurged and spent an extra $80 for the Safari ride which was the only 30 minutes of fun we had the entire day! Oh and by the way - they do have a photographer who will take pictures of you on the Safari, but if you want them you actually pay more than then the photos they take of you on the roller coasters. Again, money hungry! We already paid for this, how about a complimentary photo... If you are a larger person (I am 6/2 and a 52" chest) and I could not ride any of the roller coasters. This is not advertised anywhere on the site, so barely any rides beside the Flume (water ride) which we waited 1.5 hours in a pig pen not fit for pigs. It was a hot, sweaty area - no air movement besides 2 Box fans, and you literally are elbow to elbow with people next to you. However, if you went ahead and spent an additional $90 each you got right on the rides. I saw people getting right off and directly back on with Quick Que. I even counted, and they were loading four boats for quick que to 1 regular boat line. Real fair, we paid to be here too! The animals are good to see, but you can see most at other zoos - and for cheaper. I won't ever be going back to Bush Gardens, and I signed up for Trip Advisor specifically to warn others, so your vacation is not spoiled like our day was.

Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts concerning your recent visit to Busch Gardens. The experiences and comments of our guests are always welcome and greatly appreciated. We have shared your comments with the leadership team for their review and appropriate action. There is no actual weight limit, provided the safety restraints can secure properly. Seats can typically accommodate guest of up to 52in in chest size. We do have specific seats with larger seat belts; however the seats and harnesses are not modified. To access these seats please ask the ride attendant at each attraction. Cheetah Hunt, SheiKra, Montu, Kumba, Tigris, and Cobra's Curse also feature sample seats before entering the queue. This information is posted on website.

I think my rating of three out of five stars is very accurate due to many different reasons- here are my pros and cons: Pros: 1) affordable pricing overallā€¦ On most things 2) not too crowded, ride waits are long 3) variety of thrill rides and animals in one park 4) Food and drink prices are fairly reasonable Cons: 1) no one has accurate information. We went in early May on a Saturday into Sunday and upon paying $25 into the parking area at Busch Gardens, the parking attendant employee told us that they open that 9 AM the next day, which was a Sunday. We arrive at 9 AM next day only to find that we could Not get in to the attractions unless we are annual pass number, the rest of the house which is us with Nancyā€™s passes had to wait until 10 AM Not get in to the attractions unless we are annual pass number, the rest of the people such as us with Nancyā€™s passes had to wait until 10 AM 2) Cleanliness and people to assist you with questions eat somewhere. On our entry into the park at 10 AM on Sunday, the bathrooms were already out of toilet paper and hand towels and some litter that we saw from the day before near the attractions were still there 3) different pricing on the QUE quick ? pass... similar to fast pass at Disney)... We bought 2 QUE passes for Sunday for $40 each, only to find that they were $20 online in a different area and $60 plus at the kiosk with in the parkā€¦ Which one is accurate and what are they trying to do here? 4) signage in the park could be better. Make sure you have your walking shoes on, since itā€™s a huge area and a lot of ground to cover. There is no one focal point, such as the castles and Magic Kingdom to get your bearings in the maps on the slightly helpful. In summary, although there is room for improvement, you probably can save a lot of money by coming to Busch Gardens instead of Disney or universal, but having said that, you basically get what you pay for within reason. I guess if you buy the annual pass, and you use it a few times, you definitely will get your moneys worth, but make sure you read the fine print!

we were in orlando for three days . i had read the mixed reviews and thought i would take a chance and go anyways. after arriving we found out that the shows that we had planned on seeing were not playing all week. many closed booths and rides .if you don't do coasters don't waste your time .we did the whole park in less than 3 hours .
