Busch Gardens was one of the highlights for our family vacation. We got the Tampa Pass (recommend) and it had 4 Tampa destinations for half off and this was one of them. We travelled in the off season which drastically brought the crowds down. Our longest ride wait time was toward the end of the day (Friday) and it was 30 minutes. I could see how the lines would be crazy in peak season though! The staff was friendly and the food was amusement park food. They may have had a more gourmet food choice-I didnā€™t see it. The rides were fun and kept up well. They didnā€™t seem to have the ā€œloosenessā€ of over ridden rides, if that makes sense. They were all tight and smooth. And then the animals! The amusement park with its own zoo! This was awesome! The train ride takes you into the Serengeti with opportunities to see all kinds of big animals up close and personal! Gazelle, rhino, giraffe and such just roaming the tracks. The other exhibits for the other animals are huge. Itā€™s an awesome zoo! They had two rides that were down for maintenance, which sucks but is understandable. They let you know that as youā€™re coming In the park. The souvenir photos are expensive-we opted out, but you could take your own photo with your camera for free. The theme they had while we were there was Mardi Gras. It was decorated in that theme and they had a festival type parade with the Mardi Gras characters. They had lovely ladies throwing beads and a band playing that all to familiar sounds of Louisiana! I thought it was a great time!

We had an amazing day at Busch Gardens. The whole staff was amazing and polite and ready to help. We felt the animals were up close and had good views of them. We visited the park on 1/14/22, a Friday. One of our favorite ride was the Cheetah hunt. This is where we met Jake, who is one of the line attendant and is an amazing employee and gave us great customer service. Thanks for a 5 star Day.

While I absolutely love the roller coasters and rides, the lines are too long and even with a fast pass, the wait for Cheetah Hunt was 30 mins. And the fast pass during the week of Christmas was very overpriced. Why does it need to be that way for those who only ride the adult rides and have no interest in the shows (only because we go to BG every year)?
