The Cache la Poudre Tour will take you along the route of the original settlers of the Cache la Poudre Canyon. See the beautiful scenery of the Cache la Poudre scenic byway while learning the history of the trailblazers that settled along the roads we travel. This trip visits Horsetooth Reservoir, Livermore, Red Feather Lakes, Chambers Lake, and the Poudre River. This trip lasts 5 hours with per person pricing.

Along the way we will pass 4 of the beautiful Red Feather Lakes.

Cache La Poudre River

The Cache la Poudre Half Day Tour takes guests on a beautiful scenic tour of the foothills and mountains that surround the Cache la Poudre river canyon. Along the way, your guide will relay the history of the explorers, homesteaders, and businesses that trailblazed and settled the river canyon. Hopefully along the way we will see some of the canyon's wildlife. The tour last 5 hours and includes snacks and drinks.

My family and I could not have enjoyed this tour more!!! We have been to this area of Colorado many times, yet our guide Yorke made it all feel new and exciting. His depth of knowledge in the history of our tour area was extensive. He was able to share areas and sites that were just beautiful. Yorke is very welcoming and easy to converse with. He even joined in our teasing of my husband who fell asleep during the tour!!! Car rides get him everytime. We would gladly hire Yorke again for future tours!!

Yorke was a super guide into the mountains and through Poudre River area. He is extremely knowledgable, knows so much history about the area. The drive was smooth and comfortable. We pulled over for many picture opportunities. We highly recommend this half day trip. Yorke made this trip special for us with his knowledge and consideration for our needs and comfort during the trip.
