This added a whole new dimension to our Wine Country experience. Our guide, Jillian, was great. The terrain was flat, the roads serene (with the exception of one or two busy spots that she warned us well in advance about) and the wineries we visited provided a great mix of traditional, modern and in between. Our lunch was delicious, the right portions and an amazing break from the biking. The timing was spot on: Jullian was there at 10 a.m. sharp and we finished by 3:30 p.m.

We did the Calistoga Sip and Cycle as a way to see the area and visit some wineries, and we were not disappointed by the experience. I would say that if you are looking for a slow moving bike ride, this is probably not going to be your thing. The best parts of our day were learning about the grapes and the area, riding through the beautiful countryside, visiting different wineries (but the small family one was the best), and our awesome tour guide (Randy). You will not be disappointed by this experience!

My sister and I had an awesome time on our tour! Dustin is a fantastic guide and very knowledgeable about wine and the wineries in the region. He took us to great wineries for our tastings. Our tour was on Oct. 20th, 11 days after the devastating wildfires started, and thanks to the hard work of first responders in containing the fires, the people of Calistoga were able to return home and our tour was able to go on as scheduled. Dustin and Getaway Adventures could not have been more accommodating. Dustin took us to lunch at a nice deli in Calistoga after explaining he was not able to provide us with a picnic lunch because he was still evacuated from his home, which was completely understandable and more than we could have asked of anyone in that situation. The bikes provided were very comfortable and had been tuned up prior to our tour. This tour was well worth the money!
