We board and return to the dock at Clearwater Beach. Please feel welcome to come early before the cruise, or stay on the beach after the cruise to enjoy what the rest of our great city offers!

My friends came to visit from Pennsylvania and joined me and my husband. The tropical setting and friendly service by Kristen our server made the dinner cruise so much fun for us. The food was good and the drinks were plentiful. I felt it was a good value. The DJ played a variety of music and we danced the night away! I also liked that each deck had its own bar and buffet. I would recommend this ONLY if you are looking to have FUN. The Calypso Queen dinner cruise is more casual than the (Star Lite Majesty dinner cruises where the only thing included on Star-Lite is the cruise, dinner is extra as well as drinks.)

No, I did not tell them it was our anniversary, that's OK. We had a delightful time. The cruise was just as advertised and the crew were conscientious, providing attentive service throughout our time on board. The buffet was plentiful and the variety excellent all well prepared and tasty. My wife asked that I include a special comment on the buffet - she said that the entrees on the buffet were precisely labeled allowing her to clearly see what was vegetarian etc., that the labeling also benefited them by being positioned so she had advance notice of what was next on the line. The only negative was parking (not your responsibility) but it was "Spring Break" and we might have better heeded the suggestion we arrive earlier than we did. Visitors, pay attention, we were warned, don't let that detract from the cruise. Still, a great cruise and buffet! I recommend Calypso Queen for everyone, it was apparent that families with small children were welcome and the kids seemed to have a good time too.

We enjoyed the opportunity to cruise on the Calypso Queen. We had a window seat, the guest who was reserved to sit with us was a no show, so we had the table all to ourselves, and were first in line for the buffet. The food was great! Fresh and hot. The wait staff were so friendly and for it to be just the two of them keeping up with the entire 1st floor guest was amazing. They were so friendly and helpful but no one went without anything they requested. The captain was quick to point out things of interest, including dolphins. A very smooth sailing, great local information. All in all an very enjoyable lumchtime experience that last 2 hours.
