We board and return to the dock at Clearwater Beach. Please feel welcome to come early before the cruise, or stay on the beach after the cruise to enjoy what the rest of our great city offers!

We booked the 6:00 Sunset Dinner Cruise on Calypso Queen. It was a quick walk from Clearwater Beach. If you arrive around noon, they will sell you a $6 parking permit so you can park nearby, and not have to move your car. Plus — the beach parking fills up quickly. We were so happy to have to park only once, enjoy the beach, then enjoy the boat ride. There are public restrooms nearby to change from beach clothing to clothing for the cruise. The staff was fun and friendly, and always making sure everything was good, drinks were full, etc. Steve was especially great ... between taking care of us, and helping cast off and dock the boat ... he was awesome. The food was very good, the water/boat was super smooth. It is winter, so was rather cool, but we did go on the top level a few times. Dance music is on the second level if you are interested. Views from the boat at night were lovely. I’d give it 5 stars, however ... and it may be my fault for not understanding the activity description ... I thought we’d be having a sunset cruise on the Gulf (since we were so close). We were barely pulled away from the dock when the sun set, so no real good view of it. Also, I doubt we ever went to the gulf, but kept in the bay. Which, again, was lovely with all the lighting of houses and resorts. But had hoped to get a bit further out. In all, it was a nice ending to our beach day. Good food, everyone was in a good mood and friendly. I’d definitely recommend giving them a try.

This was a fun experience! Beer, Wine and Delicious Rum Punch was included and the food buffet was wonderful! DJ played good tunes, fast and slow music, even took requests. A nice date night out.

It was a beautiful day on the water. The buffet lunch was wonderful - lots of good choices. Of course we enjoyed the rum punch also!
