Explore Saguaro Lake! Whether you’re a beginner or expert you can experience the beautiful lakes of Arizona! You will be given an orientation of basic safety and paddling instruction. Along with some suggestions on fun places to paddle and how far for given time length of rental. After that it's just you and the beautiful scenery of where the desert meets the water!

Combine your kayak trip with our Brisket & Burgers Barbecue back at the ranch to make it a day of fun and great food. Chef Leroy will be showing off his expertise with ranch smoked Beef Brisket and Burgers with Saguaro Sauce. Barbecue available on SELECT Sundays.

Excellent experience! We were kayaking on the lower salt river and had a blast. A few rapids and some low hanging branches to watch out for but overall a great experience!

The scenery was beautiful, the cliffs and rock formations very impressive. The river was just right for my husband and me. At age 70 and 72, it was our first time paddling our own kayak through rapids… so what they were just Class 1! I’m claiming this! The trip down the river was way shorter than advertised. One and a half hours, not 2 - 2 &1/2. We would have liked another hour, at least. And, as Saguaro Lake Ranch says “no experience necessary,” I believe they should provide two guides—one in front and one in back. Two in our party of 16 flipped their kayaks and needed help in righting them and getting back in.
