Floating around the lake...I was solo on this trip. I enjoyed the guide he was a great guy knew a lot and enjoyed talking with him. I got to see the cliff side, and admired the whole thing wondering what it would take to get up there and explore. :) LOL There were some boats there but they were mindful of the kayakers. You just had to be aware of the wake coming at you. The hosts at the Ranch were great, could have a few more supply's but it was still good. I would love to go back at another time to do the river trip.

Thank you for the 5 star review and we are so glad you had an enjoyable time connecting with yourself and nature out here. You can explore up above the water! The Butcher Jones trail is public access with use of a Tonto National Forest Pass, you may go there and hike up above the lake and look down from the cliffs. Please email us some suggestions on things that would make it a little better in the giftshop as we are always trying to re-vamp it! Thanks again!

Austin and Matlock were great hosts getting us safely to and back from picturesque Saguaro Lake. We enjoyed 2 solid hours kayaking. Highly recommended!
