In the words of my nine-year-old, “It was a great tour, because we saw all different kinds of art. For example, there was one that used electricity, another one used wind, and another that reflected the sun.” Elaine knew that one of our daughters likes pottery, so we made a special stop to see some pottery. In this gallery, our daughter received an engaging talk and some handouts! Thank you, Mary! Elaine knows how to speak to adults and children alike. She is low key and very informed. She also knows all of the gallery mangers/owners and many knew we were coming and were prepared for us. We found that the art community in Santa Fe is full of enthusiastic, kind, down-to-earth people. Many thanks to Elaine for her care and kindness! Both of our daughters agreed that your tour was money well-spent! We are inspired and can’t wait to come back.

Thank you so much for reviewing your Kid-Friendly Canyon Road tour! I absolutely love that quote from your daughter – I love how she categorized some of the artwork we saw. Her observations are spot on, and very poetic. I loved spending time with you all in the galleries. Your daughters were so much fun, and I hope they took away lots of inspiration for their own work. I will pass along your review to Mary, as well. Thanks again, and we hope to see you on another tour!

I have been on one of Elaine's tours and plan to return on more in the future. I have also recommended them to family and friends who have all told me how much they enjoyed the tours. Elaine is very knowledgeable and creative in the way she encourages close looking and presence with the art. This creates a very intimate experience with the art that I found quite inspiring in creating my own work as an artist. This tour is great for those visiting and for artists and creatives in town looking for an "artist date"!

One of the best things I've ever done in New Mexico, let alone Santa Fe. Elaine is a wealth of information, and so connected to the Santa Fe art community, that it is hard not to feel welcome at each gallery you visit. There is no pressure to purchase any art, and absolutely no soliciting of any kind on this tour. It is simply a tour for people that love art, want to know more about art, or who just want to spend time wandering around Santa Fe. Overall, an amazing experience, and I highly recommend it!
