Excellent tour. We saw a variety of galleries, each with a focus on a different style of art and medium used. I definitely recommend going on this tour. Walking was leisurely and not an issue at all. I just wish we had visited even more galleries!

Our family loved this tour! Our wonderful guide Elaine first led us through a beautiful garden full of large sculptures, followed by a few well-selected galleries. It’s very interactive; Elaine had us select favorites and explain what we saw in the pieces. She then explained the materials, workmanship and many other fascinating details in a relevant way that a novice to advanced art lover could appreciate. This tour is a must to any visitor to Santa Fe wishing to learn about the vibrant art scene!

Thank you so much for taking the time to review your experience. I'm so glad you enjoyed the tour and had fun discussing the work on view. That's always my favorite part; I love finding out what others are draw to and why. It keeps the artwork endlessly fresh and vibrant!

Even though it was a walking tour, there were plenty of times when one could sit. I appreciated that because I am 67 and especially with the altitude it was great. I never felt tired or out of breath.

Thanks so much for your review, and for highlighting an important but easily overlooked aspect of our tours. :) We think walking is the best way to experience Canyon Road, but we understand that the altitude, the heat, and "museum legs" can catch up with people, so we always try to choose galleries that have seating available. After all, you can't enjoy the art if you're too tuckered out. Having a chance to rest is so important! Thanks again for pointing this out, and we're so glad you were comfortable during the tour.
