What To Expect

Redtail Air Adventures

This scenic tour takes you over two of the nation's most popular national parks, Canyonlands National Park and Arches National Park. See all of the great geographical anomalies in both of these landscapes and learn the unique history from a highly trained pilot as you soar over arches, canyons and rivers. Sights include: Upheaval Dome, Green River Goose Neck, Island in the Sky, White Rim, The Maze, Confluence of the Colorado and Green rivers, Landscape Arch, Fisher Towers, Devils Garden, Klondike Bluffs and much more!

We flew RedTail Air from Moab Utah to Bryce, about 1.5 hours in flight, four passenger plane: spectacular. SO well worth the time to fly at five to seven thousand feet and see the canyons change literally under our feet. Very accomplished pilot, very little turbulence, wonderful views of the Canyons. Totally recommend with no reservations. We had a group of slightly over twenty people so we split up into four/five planes, all from RedTail. All pilots stayed in close communication and all did stunningly well. For a special treat on your vacation, highly recommend this special way to view the Canyons!

After a week of every activity imaginable in Canyonlands, Arches, Deadhorse, as well as the surrounding areas, this was a great way to get a visual summary of the areas we visited and we were able to identify most sites from above! Additionally, you can really get an idea of how truly special this particular area of the earth really is. The geology lessons from all of our guides really came together seeing the landscape from up above, but not at commercial airliner altitude. I highly recommend seeing the area this way. It was fantastic.

This was an amazing experience. Lucked out since family of 4 signed up on same day so flight didn't get cancelled. Truly incredble views and pilot was good about explaining what we were seeing. Best way to see Canyonlands since it is so vast. Not as great for Arches since you are able to get good views just by driving and arches are small from above. Also get to see Dead Horse park from above.
