Payton was very nice. The plane ride was comfortable. The views were fabulous and, considering that she was new to the job, Paytonā€™s commentary was good.

Thank you for taking the time to write Redtail a nice review, I will be sure to pass on your kind words to Payton! We think the views are the best from the air and we are happy that you enjoyed your flight.

A most enjoyable way to get some grasp of the massive & impressive Canyonlands NP (as well as a quick overview of Arches NP). Our pilot (Chris) did a pretty good job of describing what we were flying over. As noted in other comments, he reviews a large map in the terminal with the customers before the flight; a very good idea! Handing the customers a much smaller, but more detailed version of that map with key items shown "by the numbers" on the map, might allow customers a better idea of what is flown over. We had taken a land tour the day before (& had driven into Moab from the south), so we had some idea about a portion of which was flown over. On the whole, we recommend the tour to those who want a general "vision" of Canyonlands NP. BTW: we commend Redtail for cancelling our flight May 3 (due to winds) & shifting it to May 4; safety is paramount, which Redtail staff explained fully. NICE JOB!

Thank you for taking the time to write a nice review for Redtail. We are lucky to have Chris as one of our very talented pilots! We appreciate the kuddos for the rescheduling for weather.

This was a spectacular experience. We have seen the area from every angle and every level. We have Kayaked and canoed down the Green River, we have driven the 4 WD White Rim Road, We have spent time hiking the Island in the Sky. Now we have seen it all from the air. We flew over Canyonlands, Natl. Park, and Arches Natl. park. The views cant be described... but it certainly puts everything into perspective. We went on a windy day so thought it might be bumpy, it wasnā€™t. Our pilot was professional and knew his plane. He knew the area, and pointed out many landmarks using the plane wingtips. We had a pretty smooth ride, and a very smooth landing for such a windy day. Highly rated experience.
