Liam was great! Full of insightful details and very personable. Definitely recommend! The end was weird tho, b/c here was an unspecified threat on the street when I left, so we ended up walking thru tunnels to the Madison building. But hey, always up for an adventure! Thanks again to Liam for his patience with me

The guide was amazing and the tour was very fun! You do go on the same tour of the Capitol Building that you can book through your state representative, which I didnā€™t realize.

Tour guide asked us to arrive 15-20 minutes early at the Library of Congress. Everyone arrived early except for one family. Because tour guide was kind to them, we started 15 minutes late. Wouldn't have been too much of an issue, but the Senate closed at 4PM. Guide was extremely knowledgeable, but not as organized as he should have been especially with the late start. Although we met at the Library of Congress, the tour group did not even go into the Library of Congress until the end of the tour. Then, the group had to cut the Library of Congress short and literally run back to the Capitol to barely make it in time (only 4 minutes to spare) to get inside to the Senate chambers. Tour started at Library of Congress (exterior only); went by SCOTUS; went into Capitol; back to Library of Congress; and then sprint back to the Capitol. It would have made much more sense to go into the Library of Congress at the beginning after meeting in front by the fountain and then go to the Capitol and Senate instead of running back and forth between the two.
