Tour runs approximately 3 hours
Please plan to arrive15-20 minutes before tour start time. Tour begins exactly at stated time, entry to buildings are on timed reservations, and group must enter security together, therefore we are unable to accommodate for late arrivals.

U.S. Capitol

The Capitol is among the most architecturally impressive and symbolically important buildings in the world. The Senate and the House of Representatives have met here for more than two centuries. Begun in 1793, the Capitol has been built, burnt, rebuilt, extended, and restored; today, it stands as a monument not only to its builders but also to the American people and their government. Enjoy a reserved docent lead tour of the rotunda, crypt, and old house chambers.

Library of Congress

Experience a guided tour of one of the most beautiful buildings in Washington, DC as you view the main reading room, a portion of Thomas Jefferson's original library, and the Great Hall. Learn about the library's history and current operations, and how you can access the resources within its collection.

Supreme Court

Learn about the history and inner workings of the highest court in the land as you visit the Supreme Court. Your guide will share the the story of the birth of the Supreme Court up to current cases and what they mean. *does not enter the building

Being in the Capitol Rotunda, site of numerous national figures lying in state. Liam is an encyclopedia of info regarding the Capitol, Library of Congress, n Supreme Court.

I LOVE THIS TOUR COMPANY !! LIAM WAS GREAT !! I also can say used tour company 2x's in DC. Well worth it and I was so grateful I called and there was a last minute cancelation and they opened the group up to the Public again. We were able to move quickly and fast to the most important things in both buildings. Also I LOVE MY SENATE PASSES !! Thank you for the History and answering all our questions. I really learned a lot !! Advice on where to eat and things to do such a plus with this company. They know where to send you on your vacation to make the most of it. My personal option....... Seeing the Capital Building and Library of Congress was very important to ma after what we all witnessed. Seeing the Supreme Court and learning about ROE VS WADE and many other cases THANK YOU !! GTDC Does great things for us ALL !!

My favorite was seeing Thomas Jefferson’s Book collection. Very cool! Liam was a great guide, very knowledgeable. You could really feel his passion for history.
