Tour runs approximately 3 hours
Please plan to arrive15-20 minutes before tour start time. Tour begins exactly at stated time, entry to buildings are on timed reservations, and group must enter security together, therefore we are unable to accommodate for late arrivals.

What To Expect

U.S. Capitol

The Capitol is among the most architecturally impressive and symbolically important buildings in the world. The Senate and the House of Representatives have met here for more than two centuries. Begun in 1793, the Capitol has been built, burnt, rebuilt, extended, and restored; today, it stands as a monument not only to its builders but also to the American people and their government. Enjoy a reserved docent lead tour of the rotunda, crypt, and old house chambers.

Library of Congress

Experience a guided tour of one of the most beautiful buildings in Washington, DC as you view the main reading room, a portion of Thomas Jefferson's original library, and the Great Hall. Learn about the library's history and current operations, and how you can access the resources within its collection.

Supreme Court

Learn about the history and inner workings of the highest court in the land as you visit the Supreme Court. Your guide will share the the story of the birth of the Supreme Court up to current cases and what they mean. *does not enter the building

Liam, our tour guide, was great. He was very knowledgeable and personable. Although we had visited some of these sites in the past, we learned a lot from him that we would not have otherwise know. We would definitely recommend.

Very informed guide. We really enjoyed the range of the tour - Congressional buildings, Library of Congress, Supreme Court and the Folger/Shakespeare Library. A lovely way to spend the morning.

Even with a guide we had to wait an hour for him to get passes to go into the Congressional buildings. It would be good to know that there is a place to check bags and coats at the beginning of the tour.
