Captain Zipline is a unique opportunity to experience a zip line / aerial course in a setting like no other. Truly mind blowing and highly recommended! Moreover, the Guides were particularly helpful and very entertaining/fun, especially Marisa, Preston, Johna, Wade and Josh. First, while on the aerial course Marisa offered (on her own) to take photos of our group using our iPhone while we up on the course. Next, I happened to tell a couple of the Guides it was my son's 13th b-day and without skipping a beat they grab a t-shirt to give to him (for free) and ran outside to sing him "Happy Birthday"....it was a wonderful memory for him he'll never forget! :-) It is definitely worth the drive ....we drove from Breckenridge. I highly recommend doing the aerial course in the morning, having lunch in town and then doing the zip line course through the canyons in the afternoon.

Zipping at Lost Canyon requires a small amount of hiking and great expectations of a fun adventure. Guides Josh and Preston are great guys (we had them on our first time out some five years ago, so you know they're experienced). Not many zipline adventures fly over canyons or include local history and geology--this one does! It's safe and easy enough for both grandparents (we're 72) and children (our group's youngest was 9), making the tour a great family activity. Nearby Salida is a great little mountain town with some of the area's best art galleries, rafting, shopping and pizza! We have done most of the Colorado ziplines, as well as several in California, Arizona, New Mexico, Costa Rica, Honduras, and Captain Zipline remains one our favorites. Zipping Granny

We had a wonderful time zip-lining at Captain Zipline. Wade and Marisa were fun and knowledgable guides. They made our adventure fun and entertaining. They also spent extra time with my younger children making them feel safe secure. Also, kudos to Monty for helping me book our adventure at 9:00 the night before our visit. The staff is amazing the the area is beautiful. A must on any trip to Salida .
