We did this as a work team building exercise and we had a great time! It was a challenging puzzle and it was fun to work through it together. Tobi was our game master and helped make the experience go smoothly!

The room itself should have been fun but our visit was plagued with problems. We had a split group 5/3 but worked well together. Our collective group had issues with the puzzles not working correctly (locks not opening with the correct combination on three occasions). Had our clue master been paying attention he would have seen and heard that we had the correct combination numerous times with numerous people and he should have come in to check the equipment. In one case the machine was out of paper and we read the message out loud more than a few times. We don't know if this is part of the puzzle or not. It was not, the machine was out of paper and did not print our next clue. We spent over 15 minutes struggling with this and had asked the camera more than once if paper was needed. Frustrating! Another lock had the correct combination and did not open for 3 of our group that tried. Eventually, after another 10 minutes we stepped out and asked for assistance. Our clue master was able to get the lock to open after yanking much harder than we were advised to. Our group did manage to achieve the objective but most were frustrated with the combination of faulty equipment and the lack of attention from the clue master. Maybe he was just having a bad night but I'm not sure I would go back to this location.

Our group was celebrating a birthday and decided to try Escape Works because they were able to accommodate our group of 8. We opted for the Casino Heist and had such a great time. Helena was our game master and was wonderful! The game was challenging, and although there was a wide range of ages, we all worked together and was able to solve the puzzle. We are already planning another trip to Escape Works to try another challenge!
