Castillo de San Marcos National Monument

Constructed by Spanish settlers and explorers this magnificent Fort has stood tall in defense of St. Augustine since 1672. We will explore the outside perimeter of the Castillo learning the history through interactive experiences.

Scott, our tour guide, was an extremely passionate, informative individual. He was so knowledgeable and in-depth with his tellings of the battles and past of St. Augustine and everything you could fathom asking him about. He ended the tour by walking us from the fort, across Cordova St., to where we had dinner reservations after mentioning it to him once at the beginning of the tour. I would recommend this HIGHLY, to anyone who wants some extra tid bits and secrets into the history of where they’re visiting. Thank you SO much to Scott again for offering his knowledge and insights to us so proudly!!! :)
