Castner Glacier Ice Cave Adventure from Fairbanks

Overview

Enjoy the amazing views of the mountains and keep an eye out for wildlife such as Moose and Caribou which are often seen crossing the road. Once you arrive at the starting point of the trail your guide will take you on a hike to the breathtaking Castner Glacier Ice Cave. Enjoy the epic views of the Delta Range, an eastern section of the Alaska Range.
The 2.6-mile hike to the Castner Glacier ice cave is straightforward and almost entirely flat. Sometimes deep snow might be present so the use of snowshoes will be necessary.
These classic Interior glacier ice caves are fascinating and beautiful. They change from season to season, so you are always accessing something brand new and captivating.

What To Expect

We will pick you up from your Hotel or AirBnB at 8:30 am and we will head out to Castner Glacier Ice cave. We will have a 2.5 hour journey on the Richardson Highway trough the beautiful Alaska Range. Enjoy the amazing views of the mountains and keep your eyes open for wildlife such as Moose and Caribou which are often seen crossing the road or next to it.

Fairbanks

Return to Fairbanks will be around 6pm and we will drop you off at your Hotel or AirBnB.
