This was an extremely fun and educational way to see Catalina in it's truest form. Our guide Beth was an islander with a wealth of knowledge and a willingness to share the colorful history. I had no idea that the Wrigley's had such a huge impact on the island's development and it's conservation! We went for a thrilling if not cold ride up into the mountains to see the views from up at 1500 feet, we discovered hidden valleys and coves, and saw all the wildlife available on the island. We even saw a nesting family of bald eagles. It was a great experience and I highly recommend it! Bring warmer clothes because its cooler up in the mountains! And hold on tight because its going to be a bumpy ride!

My sister surprised me with this tour as part of my birthday weekend celebration. It was such a wonderful introduction to Avalon and our tour guide Lili made the experience that much better. She is very knowledgeable and was so welcoming, it was like spending time with a friend. The food is great and the community is super friendly, overall a really great experience. Would definitely do it again!

Arriving on Catalina late morning, this tour was the perfect way to combine an entertaining introduction to Avalon with a wonderful tasting tour of many good restaurants and food outlets. Janet provided an interesting history of the island as well as showing us around to the venues. A great way to see Avalon!
