Catamaran Sailing Cruise in Monterey

Overview

Enjoy sailing the Monterey Bay without engine noise. You will be offered a complimentary beverage after your captain hoists the sails and catches the wind to make for a peaceful and exciting cruise on the bay.

On the way out of the harbor, look out for sea lions, sea otters, and harbor seals. Once you pass the breakwater, the sailing fun begins and you can relax with a beverage while your captain takes care of you.

Be sure to be on the look out for whales and dolphins while you sail!

What To Expect

Monterey Bay

Enjoy 1 hour of sailng on the world famous Monterey Bay National Marine Santuary. This is the main part of the tour where you'll see your captain set the sails. Meanwhile, you'll enjoy a free beverage of your choice while sailing and looking out for wildlife on the bay!

Cannery Row

Sights of the famous Cannery Row will be seen from the water. Your Captain would be overjoyed to share with you information on this historic site where the harvesting and canning of sardines made a lasting impact on our coast.

Incredible views and a great Captain. We didn’t see any whales, unfortunately, but it was a beautiful day and a great experience.

We took the Sail Monterey 85 min cruise in the Monterey Bay with Captain Paul leading the trip. Initially, we had to reschedule because of rough waters, but had no problem choosing between an automatic refund and the option to reschedule. The call came early in the day with an apology regarding the cancelation. The trip we had was just long enough and relaxing. Paul offered drinks and snacks at the beginning, middle, and end of the excursion. There was no mention of the tip box located near the wheel, though we were happy to tip Captain Paul.
