You wait in line in a Stone tunnel that could be considered a cave, but the tour itself is outside on wooden platforms. Very wet, the power of the smallest of the 3 falls can be felt directly. Lots of fun, if you don't mind getting wet!

We had a tour guide for Cave of the Winds. We spent a bit of time with a tour guide and he talked about the people who have tried to "ride the falls" and who survived and who didn't and showed us some spots at the Horseshoe Falls, Bridal Falls, and American Falls. He also talked about how they used the power of the falls to create energy. The Falls are truly stunning! Then we donned ponchos and recyclable sandals, took our tour down an elevator and then walked on decking that they rebuild every year, very close to the drop of the falls. You cannot believe the force of the water unless you experience it. Just do it! You won't regret it.
