Easy to make reservations online and super friendly staff at kayak pick-up location. Dora Canal is tranquil for the most part although there are boats that meander through, but it's a NO WAKE zone. We paddled into a side inlet that was very serene and provided a true Florida swamp experience. We did spot some wild life including gators, heron, cranes, and Anhinga birds!

The canal is quiet yet alive with small chirping birds and all kinds of herans and storks. very lovely with hanging moss. power boats do pass, but they are going slowing. in between them it is magical. One of the prettiest kayak trips i have been on. it was a windy day, so we started in a park off the canal to avoid wind on the lake. there was no wind on the canal because of the tall trees. Drop and pickup was very friendly and efficinet hihly recomend. no kayak experience necessay
