Great bike ride in Central park with experienced and very friendly tourguide Luke !! Highlight of our 6day stay in NY. We recommend this tour to all families with teens !!

Mediocre at best. Went with a 2-hour “public tour” , 15 people including the guide. PROS: shop is well located to Metro and Central Park. Used our Sightseeing Pass so it was more affordable. Beautiful weather. CONS: bikes were in poor condition. Three of 14 people in our tour had break downs in the 2-hour event. (One bike dropped left side crank & peddle, one bike lost kickstand so that the rear fender detached and and rattled and rubbed. My bike had front brakes misaligned so they rubbed, pulled and squeaked. No restroom at shop for pre- and post tour comfort. Guide Brian was pleasant, native New Yorker but was new to the business. He had notes to read at each of the stops but could barely answer any questions beyond what was in his notes gleaned from Wikipedia. Asked us to obey all traffic signals, then while leading us, blew through them all, even at crosswalks. This could be a good attraction, but Fancy Bikes needs to get serious about quality control.
