My husband and I had visited Central Park before however didn't really see much. This tour changed all that! Elena and Mike gave us a warm welcome and made us feel so comfortable. Elena can talk and run so effortlessly it's certainly something to behold. Mike is a great photographer and the two of them work really well together. Elena is very knowledgeable and funny, we learnt so much and also saw so much more of the park. Also Elena will adjust her pace to suit any running abilities (this was greatly appreciated after we'd indulged in far too much food and drink!!). Overall a great tour. Don't be put off by the season either, it was a really lovely dry day plus it was quieter in the park so no tourists to dodge!

Gabi was my guide for the run and it ended up being just us too. I expected it would be canceled as the temperature was -9 degrees C but Gabi was waiting and ready at 8 am as planned. We did some stretches and she took me on a lovely route of the park stopping to show me various cool places and explaining some of the histories of the park. Despite it being just the 2 of us it was a great run despite the cold and kudos to Gabi for running in that weather and talking at the same time! Would definitely love to do it again but in the summer months with more people.

Make this a top priority on your list of things to do whilst in New York as not only will you be keeping fit, you’ll see parts of Central Park you might never explore on your own, learn amazing facts about the parks history and meet the amazing Fit Tours Team! Myself and my dad did the 5K fun run with Bonnie two days before dad was running the NYC marathon at the start of November and I can only describe the experience as completely and utterly awesome! I first discovered Fit Tours NYC whilst planning a trip to New York for November 2017 and signed myself and mum up for the Sunrise Yoga Tour (a real highlight of our holiday which we still regularly talk about) and vowed after that to get fit, stay fit and to sign up for the 5k run the next time I was going to be in New York. Well, that I did and it was the experience of a lifetime, it’s always been a dream of mine and my dads to run through Central Park but the 5K run was so much more and made all the more fantastic by the wonderful Bonnie and amazing Mike! Bonnie was an amazing guide and told us lots of fascinating information about the park and pointed out things you just wouldn’t see or find on your own. Mike kindly took pictures of us along the way and they will be dearly cherished and serve to remind us of one of the best experiences of our lives. I cannot recommend Fit Tours NYC highly enough. The team are just some of the nicest and kindest people you could meet. Keep up the amazing work Mike and see you next time I’m in New York!
