Booked a guided tour of Spanish Harlem because we did not know how to do it ourselves. Where to go, what to see and all. Having a guide was helpful. Harlem was just as beautiful and multi cultural as we have hoped.

The guide was great! Some in the tour could have benefited by additional early instructions: gear changes on hills, hand signals, staying together, single file, what to do if a problem or fall. Otherwise, he was relaxed, knowledgeable, and while English was not his first language he was very understandable. The staff at rental location was efficient and helpful. This is the best way to see much of the park in a 2.5 hour excursion. I've been through the park or parts of the park for over a quarter of a century and this is the first bike tour. What a great way to start a day! We visited in August and were afraid of the heat and humidity. We got warm but took the earliest tour of the day we could arrange. The size of the tour was under 13 people which was a great size. It included an elementary student through senior citizens and out-of-the-country visitors. It was a lovely mix. Hint: the north end of the park requires lots of hilly pedaling and it can be difficult for some; most made it well.
