This company doesn't care about service or providing you a good experience.
I got an explorer pass, because I wanted to do a few different activities, the main one being a bike tour of central park. Anyway, going on this company's website I found that you cannot book a slot in advance, you just have to show up and hope you get lucky!
I turned up at 10.45am to join the 11am tour. I couldn't join because it was too full. I asked if I wanted to ensure I can do this tour on another day, when should I join? I was told to come at 8am. So you expect me to waste 3 hours of my vacation standing outside your office in order to be able to join this tour? Why not let people book slots in advance then you wouldn't have this problem...
This wasn't an option for reasons which I'm sure are based around greed (They will get paid from people who have passes, who may not actually be able to join the tour in the end - so free money for the company I guess!).
What I decided to do, was to use my pass to simply rent a bike which was another option with the explorer pass, and they couldn't say they were out of bikes, so this is what I did. Even then the amount of time it took for me to get a bike really ate into the time I had left before my next planned activity for the day started. The people in charge of handing out the bikes gave me a bike too high for me and before I could even ask for it to be exchanged, ran away to sort something out for the next person. I tried to ask for an exchange of this bike but was ignored.
I ended up finding someone who looked a little less busy who reluctantly helped me out, reluctantly of course because they're not being paid for helping people out - and they already have all the money they can get out of you.
It seems this shop does not care about service, or your experience, just your money. They will put the least amount of effort into ensuring you have a pleasant experience.
Find another company to use because Unlimited Biking will just steal your money.
