Overview

Treat yourself to a tour of New York City's Central Park on a pedicab guided tour. Sit back and relax as you ride along the paths and hear unique stories about our famous central park. The tour begins with the short story of how this famous park was built followed by a fabulous view to Fifth Avenue and the Plaza Hotel. Shortly after covering the east side of the park your tour guide will make a stop at the most famous location of the park - Bethesda Fountain where we will take some wonderful pictures of you (free of charge). We will be pointing at apartments where celebrities live as well as the spots from your favorite TV Shows.

As your tour enters the magnificent Central Park, your tour guide will begin to share the rich history and fascinating facts that make this park a beloved escape in the heart of New York City.

Central Park Carousel

Next, you will see the iconic Central Park Carousel, a beloved attraction since 1871. Your guide will share its history and the charm of its hand-carved horses.

Wollman Rink

You will then see the famous Wollman Rink, known for its winter ice skating and year-round activities. Featured in movies like "Home Alone 2" and "Serendipity". Your guide will share a bit of its history and the cinematic moments filmed here.

Central Park Zoo

You will also pass by Central Park Zoo, home to animals from all over the world and famously featured in the animated movie "Madagascar".

Balto Statue

You will also see the Balto statue, which honors the brave sled dog from the 1925. Your guide will share the inspiring story behind this beloved statue.

Rumsey Playfield

Rumsey Field, a popular outdoor venue in Central Park known for hosting concerts and events such as "Good Morning America" is the next thing you will see.

Upper East Side

You will pass the luxurious Upper East Side apartments, famously featured in "Gossip Girl". Your guide will point out famous buildings and share stories about the glamorous lifestyle of this iconic neighborhood.

Conservatory Water

As you ride past Conservatory Water, you’ll see the beautiful pond known for its small sailboats which was featured in "Stuart Little".

Bethesda Fountain

The second stop on your tour is the beautiful Bethesda Fountain and Terrace, where you’ll spend around 10 minutes to walk around, take pictures, and explore. Your guide will take beautiful photos for you as well.

Bethesda Terrace

After visiting the fountain, you’ll see the beautiful Bethesda Terrace, known for its amazing architecture and tile work beneath the arches.

Bow Bridge

The third photo stop is the famous Bow Bridge, one of the most beautiful spots in Central Park. It’s a great place for photos, and your guide will happily snap some for you while you enjoy the views. They will also share the bridge’s history and why it’s such a popular spot.

Strawberry Fields, John Lennon Memorial

The fourth stop on your tour is the peaceful Strawberry Fields, home to the iconic "Imagine" mosaic. This spot was created as a tribute to John Lennon, and your guide will share its history and significance.

The Metropolitan Museum of Art

As your tour continues, you’ll get a view of the Metropolitan Museum of Art from behind. Your guide will point out interesting details about the museum.

Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis Reservoir

The fifth stop on your tour is the Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis Reservoir, a peaceful body of water that offers stunning views of both the park and the surrounding city skyline. Take a moment to enjoy the views and take some photos while your guide shares the reservoir’s history and its role in the park.

Shakespeare Garden

The next stop on your tour is Shakespeare's Garden, a charming and beautifully landscaped area filled with plants mentioned in Shakespeare’s works.

Belvedere Castle

Seventh photo stop on your tour is the enchanting Belvedere Castle, offering panoramic views of Central Park and the city skyline. This iconic spot has been featured in movies like "Elf" and "The Smurfs". Your guide will share its history and its role as both a lookout and a visitor center.

American Museum of Natural History

As the tour continues, you’ll get a great view of the American Museum of Natural History, one of the world’s most famous museums.
